Ever since I was little being in front of cameras and on stage with all eyes on me was my favorite thing to do. I can remember getting into arguments with boys who claimed that "dance isn't a sport" and how dance is "soooo easy." Little did I know that dance wasn't called a sport for a reason; dance is an art. Dance is a way to express your self with a picture worth 1,000 words and yet dance is a silent way of communication, the artist can talk to her audience through movement. When I was in the 7th grade I used my moms camera to take low-quality pictures of my friends and little sister. Photography wasn't necessary a talent of mine... more like a hobby. When I came across an Instagram profile, @sharkcookie, I was fascinated by all the amazing action shots of dancers. My 20 time project this year will be capturing action shots of dancers through creating a look-book of the four seasons. Not only can I incorporate my love of dance and photography into one, I can also show the natural beauty of nature through the bodies of dancers.
